I am really excited to be sharing the full set of Liz & Lee’s wedding. What an EPIC post I have in store for you. In fact, I don’t even know yet, if my blog server can cope with the number of images! Fingers crossed, as I really couldn’t narrow down the images to share any more than this.
Liz and Lee got married just before Christmas, at the Woodside Hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Along with their daughter F, my wonderful photography muse since bump whom I adore, friends and family, it was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever been to. Despite the weather, which poured, all day long, the day was full of smiles, happiness and laughter. The bride and groom, had been planning this wedding for over a year, and not a single detail was missed. Praise to Woodside – it really came up trumps again with the staff being just lovely and everything went swimmingly.
However disappointing the weather was, it’s simply given us ample opportunity to get back into frocks and suits for a wonderful springtime rock the frock. Cannot bloody wait!
Liz wore the most stunning 1920s glam style dress, perfectly complimented by a dazzling headpiece and shrug. Lee, effortlessly stylish, with his grey suit, knitted tie and brown shoes. The flowers, the bird cages, the photo booth, the retro sweets and Christmas Bauble favours – genius! The cutest flower girl, the beautiful bridesmaids and handsome best men added gorgeousness to the day. The music was fantastic, with the groom being in a band himself, I just adored that he got up and sang. The musical duo provided the most amazing music all night long, with the dance floor never empty. The drum solo in particular got a fantastic round of applause and oh my goodness, the chocolatier! How could I forget the chocolatier? l ruddy loved this wedding!
So here’s a chance to relive the day with some of my favourite images from the day. A huge congratulations to Liz and Lee, one of the loveliest couples I know. Wishing you all the very best for the rest of your lives together. Big hug to that gorgeous daughter of yours and can’t wait to see you soon xxx
Love you three, BCPX
Liz and Lee are two of my most favourite people in the world. I got together with them, and their gorgeous (at the time) 9 month old daughter Florence in the Autumn to mark the occasion of their engagement. I CANNOT wait for their wedding in December this year, it’ll be an occasion to remember, and with these two? A beautiful one at that.
I know it’s late blogging this, but they are images I had to share. A stroll in the forest on a bright Autumn’s day seemed the perfect opportunity for some serious leaf lovin’…
Thank you both, for such a fun morning. I cannot wait for your big day. Roll on December! xx
I’m only going to share a small selection of images from this extremely special day, but what a treat it is to be able to share them. I was absolutely delighted to cover the Civil Partnership ceremony and reception of M & J, one of the most loveliest couples I’ve had the pleasure to meet.
There was not a single dry eye in the room when they exchanged their vows at The Eaton Hotel in Birmingham, and I’ve never known a room to laugh so much during the speeches. The outfits rocked and the food was divine, the weather could not have been better. This was one day that was a real pleasure to be a part of.
Huge Congratulations to M & J, here’s a tiny peek of what we got up to!

I’ve known Mahnie and Dan for a couple of years now but instantly loved them. As a couple they are gorgeous, as a family with their little boy J, they are simply adorable. Their ceremony and reception was held at Woodside Hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. An absolutely beautiful building, in stunning grounds with a modern and cool interior. Highly recommended as a wedding venue by Mahnie and Dan, and I can see why. I have another wedding at Woodside in December, after this experience, I can’t wait!
PINK was the theme, and boy did it go down well! Perfectly executed, splashes of pink accented the day from the flower girl’s shoes, to the ribbons on the cake. Equally as popular, was the sweets as favours, in sweet shop style and dessert was perhaps the most delicious chocolate fountain display I’ve ever seen. Bride even had her own apron! Fabulous planning work, it went swimmingly and I’m so pleased, huge congratulations to you lovely two.
I love Autumn, and this wedding did not disappoint. We had plenty of gorgeous crisp late afternoon sunshine, and fabulous images to match. I found it so hard to narrow down my favourites, it may be an epic, but it’s worth it. Enjoy!
Love to you both, BCPX
I am loving my sessions with Vicky, it’s such a privilege to share her journey with her. We stayed at home this time, getting a few shots of her lovely bump in her home surroundings and I tried something new, editing an entire shoot in black and white, here is just a small selection:
Isn’t she looking gorgeous?
More soon!
