I am very late blogging this, but I thought I should share these images as it was such a special wedding for me to cover.
Hannah is one of my oldest friends, we went to Primary School together, and she was one of the first people to have faith in my photography. She asked me to do her wedding, before BCP even existed! So in September last year, a beautiful sunny end of summer day, I packed up my kit and went to find Hannah at her parents house.
Their wedding day was just lovely. She married Andy, who obviously adores her. The day was full of laughter and warmth as this very close knit group of family and friends got together to watch Hannah and Andy exchange their wedding vows.
Starting at the Bridal preparations, please see below for some of my favourite images that tell the story of Hannah and Andy's special day. Check out the last image - isn't Hannah absolutely stunning?
Thank you to you both for letting me share your wonderful day. I wish you all the love in the world for your happy long life together xx
This pair make my heart go all tingly. I love shooting two people in love which is why I adore working on weddings so much. Hannah and Drew are two of the lovliest, and one of the most stunning, couples I know. We went for a short walk around the local forest attraction Hartshill Hayes which made an ideal setting for some fabulous images of these two celebrating the end of Drew’s second year in England. Hannah will be emigrating back to Australia with Drew early next year, so they wanted some quality images to represent their time together in her home country before they go. I do hope these two get married one day, if they rock these photos – imagine what their wedding images will be like!
I love these two, and am absolutely delighted to share some of the images from their woodland walk session x
From next week, my weekends are going to start getting very busy. As it happens, I’ve only done one wedding this year as of yet, but come next week I have a whole run of them to keep me on my toes for the rest of 2011! I cannot wait for each and every one, and I am looking forward to sharing them with you too!
I absolutely LOVE doing weddings. Capturing one of the best days of your life, the emotion shared, the joy and laughter and the fun you have is truly a privilege. I pride myself in getting the details, freezing the moment and saving those memories.
I’ve decided to look back on some of the weddings that I’ve done in the last two years in preparation. Two of which I worked as a Second Shooter for Lisa Fellows and Jane Atkinson and the rest on my own. Its been an absolute pleasure looking back at some of these weddings, bringing back great memories for me as well as for the gorgeous couples involved! A HUGE thank you too all of my brides and grooms! xx

I can’t tell you how delighted I am, to be able to share this sneak peek of this delicious newborn baby boy.
Baby D, was born to proud parents Vicky and Mike, who my regular readers will recognise as the lovely couple who I shared a wonderful photography journey with, photographing Vicky regularly from 20 weeks. The shoot I most recently blogged, at 37 weeks turned out to be the last bump shoot, and the next arranged session was when Baby D was a tiny 3 days old.
My sneak peeks, are generally quite anonymous by style. But this image, was not only chosen for its anonymity, but for the sheer delicacy and tenderness I believe the image portrays. The fragile days when a baby has just been born, the wonder that is ahead of you – I think this beautiful picture says it all.
Delighted to announce the birth of Baby D. Born on his due date, with ten fingers and ten toes. More pictures soon… Congratulations to V & M, here’s to the future xxx

Meet Enva, the most adorable 6 month old you’ll meet this year. She’s the daughter of a very good friend of mine C, who’s married to the lovely T. I love the three of them to pieces and I have been itching to shoot Enva since she was born. Unfortunately, distance of some 150 miles has meant that we were unable to do a shoot sooner. The wait was worth it though, little Enva was an absolute star, and get this – almost on the move already! it was SO hard to choose which photos to blog, I’d blog every one of them if I could – but you’d be here all night. check out the last two photographs, my absolute favourites of the session – such a special moment between nursing Mum and Baby, captured to treasure forever.
Enjoy!
