I love photographing baby bumps. It reminds me of a special time in my life when I was pregnant with my two. I did this photoshoot back in July, but as Claire is due to have her baby any day now, I thought I had better get my skates on and post some pictures! I edited these with a summery feel to give a calm feel to the images, which I think worked quite well. I had such a lovely time with Claire and her husband Tom, they were such a pleasure to do a photoshoot with.
There were so many glorious pictures of Claire and Tom with Claire's beautiful 34 week bump that I found it really hard to pick just a select few to share. We were blessed with some lovely weather, so the garden seemed the perfect place to take some photos. Claire and Tom are such a fantastic fun loving couple. I cannot wait to shoot their new baby, as soon as he or she arrives and wish them all the very best for their impending parenthood!

And finally, isn't she just one stunning looking lady?

A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of spending some time with best friends D & C. This gorgeous pair, along with D’s mum Julia and myself had much fun trampling around the woods getting some stunning portraits in celebration of D’s upcoming 14th birthday celebrations.
Aren’t they just fab? Thank you for such a fun time! xx

Isn't the sunshine glorious?
Little Flo, 4 months old, gives her opinion...

Back at the beginning of 2008 when I had not long started out with a DSLR, I decided to take a walk with my husband and daughter (then 22 months) in the local park. We have a fantastic tunnel that runs under the railway line adjoining the park with the local leisure centre. I knew straightaway, the shot I wanted to take, and after having successfully taken it, I never anticipated just how popular it would become. Within a day, it had made “explore” on Flickr, within a month it was being used (with permission) as a cover for a book in the USA and still even now, 3 years later it is “favourited”. Subsequent visits to THE Tunnel have since had repeated success, meaning that THE Tunnel will always be a favourite location of mine. Looking back on those first couple of Tunnel shots, I actually almost can’t believe the success as I pick faults out with the images all the time. But I love love love this tunnel now after having so much fun with them so it was a no brainer, to take Zoe there yesterday. The rest of yesterday’s shoot photos will be along later on this week, but you’ll find below, the original shot, plus those that followed, with Zoe’s fantastic silhouette ending the series fantastically – notice the subtle difference in edits as the years have gone by! If you want a similar shot by THE Tunnel, drop me a line!
It's been a busy month in our household which has meant my mojo for personal photo taking, has been AWOL. Today, after catching up with my blog roll, and being rather inspired by my many fantastic photographer aquaintances, I decided to take the camera into the garden and click.
I have two small ones, Alice who is four and Evie who is a year and a half. They are both shockingly blonde, you'd never guess they were related to me! But both are gorgeous and love an opportunity to pose for the camera.
Here are two from the garden today. Alice looking up with a smile and Evie, well, Evie is always looking busy!
